The trip to Stoonehedge with Steve was great! It was a little bit of rain but otherwise no complain at all :)

Steve was an exellent driver/guide. He explained everything so well that no one could missunderstand.

My english is not the best but what I'm trying to say is: we had a wonderful trip with a good driver in a nice group with people.

Thank you all so much. I'll recomend to all my friends and will be travelling with you soon again.

Was a really good little afternoon trip to fit in both the cathedral and stonehenge. The driver was very lovely and helpful.

  • Learn about 5000 year old Neolithic England, three millennia before the Romans came to Britain. What was life like, what shape did society take and what relationship did it have with the Sun and the Moon and the passage of the stars in the night sky?
  • Visit Stonehenge, UNESCO World HeritageSite (Entrance not included – free to NT and EH members).
  • See the largest range of prehistoric earthworks found in England; round barrows, long barrows, dykes and henges.
  • After Stonehenge, we head down to the medieval city of Salisbury.
  • Visit Salisbury Cathedral, completed in 1258, with the tallest original medieval spire in Europe. View one of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta.
  • You will have about one hour at Stonehenge and one and a half hours in Salisbury.

What to bring with you:

  • Sensible outdoor footwear.
  • Appropriate clothing - if in doubt bring another top, you can always leave it on the minibus.
  • Don't forget your camera and/or binoculars.
  • Sunscreen and a hat.

Itinerary details change from time to time when attractions open or close or when we think of ways to improve the tour so if there is something you particularly want to experience please contact us to make sure it will be part of the tour on the day that you travel.
