Testimonials

The Stonehenge trip was interesting, I also liked Salisbury very much. Thanks for a nice day.

The morning tour to Durdle Door was wonderful too, I only pity that I didn't have the opportunity to take a full day tour to the Jurassic coast.

The Jurassic Express Tour was absolutely perfect for us. The tour offered so much fantastic views and the 2,5 hour freetime between Durdle Door and Lulworth was enough. We had time to take a swim in Durdle Door and plenty of time to walk to Lulworth. We have nothing to complain. Perhaps the driver could tell it is ok to swim in the sea because that was lovely! And worth the whole trip! We liked the trip and would recommend it to friends.

  • A morning trip to see two of the jewels of the Jurassic Coast.
  • The only direct service from Bournemouth to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
  • Either walk down to the beach at Durdle Door, (very steep but stunning) or for a gentler approach, walk round the contour of the hill towards Scratchy Bottom and view the amazing rock arch from the high ridge.
  • For the energetic, there is a spectacular walk over Hambury Tout to the beautiful shell-shaped Lulworth Cove, or for those who would prefer, the bus will take you down to the cove where you will then have time to explore on your own.
  • Make a point of seeing Stair Hole, and the famous Lulworth Crumple.
  • You will have approximately two and a half hours at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door (09:30 to 12:00).

What to bring with you:

  • Sensible outdoor footwear.
  • Appropriate clothing - if in doubt bring another top, you can always leave it on the minibus.
  • Don't forget your camera and/or binoculars.
  • Sunscreen and a hat.

Itinerary details change from time to time when attractions open or close or when we think of ways to improve the tour so if there is something you particularly want to experience please contact us to make sure it will be part of the tour on the day that you travel.

The Jurassic Coast achieved World Heritage Site status because of the unique insight it provides into the Earth Sciences. This spectacular coastline clearly depicts a geological 'walk through time' spanning the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
