Testimonials

A thoroughly enjoyable, well organised day with an informative friendly guide. Being just a small group of 16/17 made good company and kept things moving at a steady pace, unlike many of the larger coach company day trips.

The pick up, drop off at the Premier Inn where I stayed was most convenient.

I shall certainly book again for the Jurassic Coast trip during my next stay in Bournemouth.

Would like to say that all of the residents thoroughly enjoyed their day out to the Isle of Wight.

A nice clean minibus, smooth drive and wonderful day.

We will definitely be using your service again.

  • Catch an early ferry to the island from either Lymington or Southampton.
  • Although very close to the mainland, the Isle of Wight has a very different feel.
  • Hear about the history of the island and the events that have shaped it.
  • Enjoy a scenic island drive, over the chalk downland in the middle of the island and along the coast.
  • Visit Osborne House, holiday home to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert (discounted entry available).
  • Lunch stop in the pretty village of Godshill, try one of the numerous pubs or tearooms.
  • Visit the Needles Battery and the Needles Park at Alum Bay, and walk out to historic rocket firing base.
  • Returning on a teatime ferry to get back in the early evening.

Please note the following restrictions in the Winter months:

  • ~ Needles Battery is closed until 17th March 2012.
  • ~ Alum Bay visitors' park is currently undergoing Winter maintenance but is still accessible.
  • ~ The chair lift is currently closed, so please be aware to walk down to the beach there are many steps.

What to bring with you:

  • Sensible outdoor footwear.
  • Appropriate clothing - if in doubt bring another top, you can always leave it on the minibus.
  • Don't forget your camera and/or binoculars.
  • Sunscreen and a hat.

Itinerary details change from time to time when attractions open or close or when we think of ways to improve the tour so if there is something you particularly want to experience please contact us to make sure it will be part of the tour on the day that you travel.
