It was a great day out and we really enjoyed it. We really appreciated that the tour took place even though we were only 5 people, the guide was very helpful and explained everything in great detail.

We had a wonderful time on the tour with Mike. It was one of the highlights of our holiday. The itinerary is great, it covers all the best local places, as well as including some history & interesting facts. It's a great way to see the local area.

Our day was absolutely amazing! The tour was really well organized. Our guide Tim was just brilliant, he knew everything about London. Tim showed us all the interesting places in London and gave us a lot of explanations. Also he was really friendly and throughout the whole day there for us. He answered all our questions and explained us how to get to the places which we wanted to visit. It was a really great experience to travel with Discover Dorset Tours and I would not hesitate to recommend it to everyone.

… The whole house [Osbourne House] was very interesting with our particular favourites being the "stunning" Durbar Room and the elegant Drawing Room and Dining Room. The Palace Grounds were very impressive, and the views from the palace were excellent. We noted the helpfulness of the staff in each part of the house and their own particular knowledge of the history of the Palace.

… Steve’s commentaries were most amusing during the tour. He had a difficult task trying to be multi lingual, but did very well and made sure everyone’s needs were catered for!

All the tours up to now have been a good experiences and value for money. We have also met and spoken with a good number of other fellow passengers on your trips. Most of them wanted to speak English and did very well. We felt quite embarrassed not being able to speak any foreign language. Another very enjoyable day, we look forward to our next tour on Monday!

Well! We had a very good day out at Oxford. To be honest I didn't think prior to going it was for me, Anne had talked me into going, but I thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Steve the courier took us round Oxford showing us the different colleges and the old churches first, which was a very good idea as whilst we were going round we were deciding which site to go back to view. He was good company and very informative and helpful. The City is comparable to many others we have visited in the UK and abroad and is a good choice. Possibly not for everyone but we both took in the history and the magnificence of the old buildings.

Anne is an avid fan of both "Morse and Lewis" She couldn't believe her luck, that she was in the midst of filming an episode of Lewis in front of Blackwells and later in the afternoon, the film crew asked someone in front of us to be an extra (she did try to catch the film directors eye but to no avail). A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! We are really looking forward to the Isle of Wight.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole day out, the weather was fine as well! which was a bonus. The guide/driver was most informative and very helpful. In Salisbury we viewed Mompesson house, Anne had specifcally wanted to see the house for years. There was a lot to take in on the whole trip it was a good experience. I cant think of any negatives.
